Accera Venture Partners AG (AVP) is an independent venture capital investment firm wholly-owned by management. Located in Mannheim, AVP was established in 2001 through a spin-off from MVV Energie AG (FR: MVV1), a diversified energy group based in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. AVP manages primarily the ENERGY Innovations Portfolio fund, MVV's corporate venture fund established in 2001, which underwent a management buyout in 2007. The firm was created to apply to other businesses in the energy industry the same growth process employed by MVV to reach the IPO stage. AVP also provides advisory services related to M&A, corporate strategy, valuation and financing.

Evonik Venture Capital GmbH (Evonik Venture Capital) is the venture capital subsidiary of Evonik Operations GmbH, itself a subsidiary of RAG-Stiftung. The firm was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Hanau, Germany.
