Dr. Gunnar Lang is senior researcher and deputy head of the International Finance and Financial Management at Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH.

Besides, he gained further working experience in the following departments: Corporate Finance, Bond Origination, Venture Capital as well as in Retail and Corporate Banking.
He was awarded a doctoral degree from Stuttgart University in mid-2012, was a visiting researcher at Harvard Business School, Boston (US), in 2009 and 2010 and at the United States Housing and Urban Development Department in Washington, D.C., in 2010.
He studied economics at the University of Heidelberg, graduating with a Master in Economics in June 2006.
The focus of his studies was mainly finance, banking and capital markets.
He completed his B.A.
(Hons.) in Banking and Finance (University of Cooperative Education Karlsruhe).
