Life Insurance Buyers, Inc. (LIBI) is a brokerage firm representing multiple viatical settlement and life settlement buyers. Started in 1996, the company is owned and operated by Greg Albers and Linda Wilcher. When clients call, that is who are going to talk to and work with is Greg or Linda. With over 35 years in the life insurance industry, LIBI has established and maintained good working relationships with its providers. That’s important because that’s what helps ensure professional transactions and competive purchase offers for clients. All policies are submitted only to institutionally funded, licensed life settlement providers. They don’t believe any individual should own another person’s life insurance policy so clients can rest assured they don’t handle viatical settlements that way. Their role is to establish consistent business practices, including support of individual state licensing and NAIC recommended procedures. CPAs, Attorneys, Financial Advisors, and Insurance Professionals, have realized that there is a fiduciary responsibility to present this unique option to their clients.
