Mr. Donato Maria Bruni is Senior Analyst & Portfolio Manager at Thalìa SA. Mr. Bruni was previously employed as Assistant Portfolio Manager by Générali Thalia Investments France SAS.
Mr. Bruni joined Thalia in 2005 as a generalist junior analyst, supporting the senior members of the investment team across all strategies.
From 2007 he became assistant PM, supporting the CIO in the day to day management of the multi-strategy portfolios and also collaborating in the definition of the investment process and standard due diligence material produced by the analyst team.
In 2008/2009 he spent 6 months in the sister company Generali Thalìa Investments France in Paris, as assistant PM for the French domiciled portfolios.
In 2009, Mr. Bruni started coverage and due diligence of the Alternative Ucits universe.
In 2010, Mr. Bruni was responsible for all aspects of the launch of the BSI Multinvest Alternative Ucits, a fund of Ucits funds, for which he has been acting as Portfolio Manager.
In 2010, Mr. Bruni became the main point of contact for the advisory relationship with Generali Group and in 2014 he became Portfolio Manager for the TAS Global Macro and lead analyst for fund selection in the Global Macro space.
Mr. Bruni has a Degree in Institutions and Financial Markets Management from Bocconi University in Milan with a dissertation on the benefits of the inclusion of the hedge funds in the traditional balanced portfolios (2004).
