Mr. Evensky is Executive Vice President & Principal at Evensky & Katz, Inc. He joined the firm in August of 2001.
Before joining the firm he was a registered representative at AXA Financial where he specialized in small business financial planning and risk management.
His responsibilities at Evensky & Katz include business development, community outreach, & client liaison.
Mr. Evensky served as campaign chair for the Miami-Dade/Broward chapter of the American Jewish Committee in its 100th centennial year.
He sits on the Mount Sinai Medical Center Founders Executive Board and serves the Greater Miami Jewish Federation as chair of the Professional Advisory Committee's education series.
He sits on the Women's' Funds Donor Council and has been a grantor since 2002, supporting the Thomas Armour Youth Ballet.
He co-chairs the Motivated Youth program with Matt McGrath, Senior Vice President at Evensky & Katz, in partnership with the Coral Gables Community Foundation and University of Miami.
He is also founder and past chair of the Young Professional Network, a youth mobilization organization that has raised thousands of dollars for local charities.
Mr. Evensky served as a member of the Board of the City of Miami Beach and also served as Vice-President of the Miami Chapter of the American Jewish Committee.
Mr. Evensky received the Key to the City of Miami Beach for his philanthropic efforts in 2004.
Among the many positions he has held were also Vice Chair of the Young Presidents' Club, Board Member of the Federation, Board of Crescendo Circle Florida Grand Opera.
Mr. Evensky graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.B.A.
