Arthur A.
Oliner has been Professor Emeritus of Electrophysics at Polytechnic University since 1990.
Prior to that, he was Head of the Electrical Engineering Department for Polytechnic University from 1966 to 1974 and Director of the Microwave Research Institute from 1967 to 1982.
He was elected a Member of the National Academy of Engineering, a Fellow of the IEEE, the AAAS and the British IEE.
Mr. Oliner has been an Engineering Consultant for various companies including IBM, Boeing, Raytheon, Hughes and Rockwell.
He received an Honorary Doctorate degree from the University of Rome, Italy.
