BCI Asset Management Administradora General de Fondos SA (BCI Asset Management) is the fund management subsidiary of Banco de Credito e Inversiones SA (SSE: BCI) in Chile. The firm was founded as Bancredito Administradora de Fondos Mutuos SA in 1988 to distribute mutual funds as an investment alternative for companies, as a vehicle for managing their cash surpluses. They changed their name to BCI Asset Management Administradora General de Fondos SA in 2008 and expanded their business to include investment fund management, private investment funds and portfolio management services. In 2011, BCI Asset Management and Bci Administradora General de Fondos merged, integrating private equity funds that invest in real estate assets. Headquartered in Santiago, BCI Asset Management provides voluntary pension savings and portfolio management services for high-net worth, individual and institutional investors.
