David Vélez Osorno is an entrepreneur who founded Nu Holdings Ltd., Nu BN Servicios México SA de CV and Nu Pagamentos SA. Presently, he holds the position of Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at Nu Holdings Ltd. and Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Nu Pagamentos SA (a subsidiary of Nu Holdings Ltd.).

He is also on the board of Rua California Ltd.

In the past he occupied the position of Investment Banker at Morgan Stanley, Principal at Sequoia Capital, Principal at General Atlantic LLC and Analyst at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC.

David Vélez Osorno received an MBA and an undergraduate degree from Stanford University.
