Sydney Edwards

Ms. Sydney Edwards is a Vice President at Capstone LLC (Broker).
She is on the Healthcare Team and has a deep institutional knowledge of Medicare policy (Parts A, B, C, D and Part D-IRMAA), Medicaid, and other government and private payers.
She is a Medicare regulatory compliance expert with extensive experience in administrative investigations, healthcare financial management, medical billing, facility and professional fee billing, clinical documentation and reimbursement.
Prior to joining Capstone, Ms. Edwards worked for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as an Attorney Advisor for the Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals.
Prior to that, Sydney served as Assistant Counsel for the US Senate Sergeant at Arms, Office of the General Counsel.
She received her dual BAs in Political Science and Spanish Literature from Hampton University and a JD from Texas Southern University.
She is an active member of the DC Bar, the US Supreme Court Bar, and the American Health Lawyers Association.
