Ji-Hye Yoo

Ms. Ji-Hye Yoo was previously a Research Associate at Mirae Asset Securities.
Ms. Ji-Hye Yoo is Senior Quantitative Strategist in the Asset Allocation Team and co Portfolio Manager at Mirae Asset Global Investments (Hong Kong) Ltd.
She is responsible for employing quantitative techniques for the formulation of the firms asset allocation strategies in the Asia Pacific region, as well as to identifying investment opportunities at the country, sector, and individual stock level.
Ms. Yoo is also responsible for building various quantitative models and tools which are used in the construction of the Investment Universe and to enhance the firm's investment process.
Prior to joining Mirae Asset Global Investments (Hong Kong) Limited in 2010, Ms. Yoo worked as a Research Associate in the Korea Economics Team at Mirae Asset Securities Co. Ltd.
in Korea.
She was then transferred to the Hong Kong office of Mirae Asset Securities, where she was responsible for quantitative and statistical research on the global markets and provided quantitative analysis to the firm's team of research analysts and worked closely with senior strategists and economists.
Ms. Yoo holds a dual bachelor's degree in statistics and economics and a master's degree in econometrics from Seoul National University in Korea.
During her academic career, she actively contributed to applied economics research undertaken by her university on the Korean economy and has published research papers in journals such as the Journal of Comparative Economics.
She also acted as a research analyst at the Centre for Corporate Competitiveness at Seoul National University from 2005 to 2006 during which she undertook various studies on the empirical and theoretical study of company competitiveness.
