Salzgitter AG is een in Duitsland gevestigde producent van staal en staalproducten. De onderneming is actief in vijf segmenten: Het segment Stripstaal bestaat uit de werkmaatschappijen Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH, Salzgitter Bauelemente GmbH, Salzgitter Europlatinen GmbH en Salzgitter Mannesmann Stahlservice GmbH en produceert bandstaal in een grote verscheidenheid aan metallurgische samenstellingen en afmetingen. Het segment plaatstaal omvat Ilsenburger Grobblech GmbH, Salzgitter Mannesmann Grobblech, Peiner Traeger GmbH en HSP Hoesch Spundwand und Profil GmbH en levert diverse producten van ruwijzer, staal en staal. Het Mannesmann-segment levert stalen buizen en pijpen en werkt via Mannesmannroehren-Werke GmbH. Het segment Handel houdt zich bezig met de handel in staalproducten via Salzgitter Mannesmann Handel GmbH en Universal Eisen und Stahl GmbH. Het segment Technologie levert producten en diensten aan fabrikanten van machines en installaties voor het afvullen en verpakken van dranken.
