(ABM FN-Dow Jones) BAM Nuttall en Sweco gaan samen aan de slag voor het British Antarctic Survey. Dit meldde BAM Groep dinsdag zonder financiële details te geven.

Samen zullen de twee partners gedurende een periode van tien jaar de onderzoekslocaties van het British Antarctic Survey in het poolgebied moderniseren. Ook zal er nieuwbouw worden gedaan.

"Bouwen in het poolgebied is extreem uitdagend, alle materialen moeten verscheept worden vanuit het VK", aldus de aannemers, die benadrukken hoe nauw het planningsproces luistert.
