PostNL draagt Hannie Vlug voor als lid Raad van Commissarissen

Den Haag, 20 december 2021 - De Raad van Commissarissen van PostNL draagt Hannie Vlug voor als lid van de Raad van Commissarissen voor een termijn van vier jaar. Het voorstel tot haar benoeming is op basis van het versterkte aanbevelingsrecht van de Centrale Ondernemingsraad tot stand gekomen. De voordracht zal aan de aandeelhouders van PostNL ter goedkeuring worden voorgelegd bij de jaarlijkse Algemene Vergadering van Aandeelhouders die in april 2022 wordt gehouden.

Haar expertise en achtergrond zijn een waardevolle aanvulling in de Raad van Commissarissen."

Hannie Vlug is thans directievoorzitter bij de Samenwerkingsorganisatie Beroepsonderwijs Bedrijfsleven. Daarvoor was zij werkzaam in verschillende directiefuncties bij de rijksoverheid, onder meer als directeur Arbeidsverhoudingen en directeur Duurzaamheid. Ook heeft zij ruime ervaring als toezichthouder in de publieke en private sector. Zo was zij onder meer lid van de Raad van Commissarissen bij zorgverzekeraar Zorg en Zekerheid en woningcorporatie Woonzorg Nederland.

PostNL nominates Hannie Vlug as member of the Supervisory Board

The Hague, 20 December 2021 - The Supervisory Board of PostNL nominates Hannie Vlug as member of the Supervisory Board for a period of four years. The proposal to appoint her has been made in accordance with the enhanced recommendation right of the Central Works Council. The nomination will be scheduled for approval by the shareholders of PostNL at the annual general meeting of shareholders to be held in April 2022.

Hannie Vlug currently is chairwoman of the Samenwerkingsorganisatie Beroepsonderwijs Bedrijfsleven, an organisation that brings together vocational education and business. Previously she held several managerial functions within the Dutch government, including as director employment relations and director sustainability. Also she has ample experience as supervisor in the public and private sector. Among others, she was member of the Supervisory Board of health insurer Zorg en Zekerheid and housing cooperative Woonzorg Nederland.
