Voordracht Nancy Kabalt als commissaris bij Fastned

Europese snellaadbedrijf, is voornemens om tijdens de buitengewone algemene vergaderingop donderdag 11 november 2021, Nancy Kabalt voor te dragen als commissaris. Daarnaast zal Victor van Dijk (CFO) worden voorgedragen als statutair bestuurder.

De raad van commissarissen is verheugd dat Nancy Kabalt zich als commissaris aan Fastned wil verbinden. Nancy is al jaren een aanjager van de energietransitie, hetgeen ook de missie van Fastned is. Zij is en was actief als bestuurder en commissaris bij verschillende energiebedrijven, consortia en brancheorganisaties die zich focussen op de energietransitie en elektrische mobiliteit, waaronder: het formule E-team, Stichting e-laad, netbeheerders Alliander en Stedin en The New Motion. De raad is van mening dat Nancy Kabalt veel kennis en expertise met zich meebrengt alsmede de juiste motivatie en energie heeft om Fastned te helpen de transitie naar duurzame mobiliteit te versnellen en daarmee Fastned's missie te realiseren. Zij vormt daarmee een waardevolle toevoeging aan de bestaande raad.

Nancy Kabalt is momenteel zelfstandig ondernemer en partner bij Windkracht 5!, een consultancy bedrijf in de energiesector. Ze vervult diverse rollen in het hart van de energietransitie. Zo is zij momenteel voorzitter van het formule E-team, een publiek private samenwerking ingesteld door de Rijksoverheid ter bevordering van duurzame en emissievrije mobiliteit met leden zoals BOVAG, RAI vereniging, ANWB, Natuur & Milieu en de Nederlandse Vereniging Voor Duurzame Energie (NVDE). Tevens is zij lid van de raad van het Europees Fonds voor de Regionale Ontwikkeling (EFRO), een Europees structuurfonds gericht op het bevorderen van de economische groei en werkgelegenheid. Daarnaast maakt zij deel uit van het algemeen bestuur van de TKI Urban Energy, een Topconsortium voor Kennis en Innovatie binnen de topsector energie, opgericht door ministerie van Economische Zaken en Klimaat. Nancy is tevens commissaris bij NV Afvalzorg en bij warmtebedrijf Ennatuurlijk.

De raad van commissarissen is tevens verheugd om Victor van Dijk (CFO) als statutair directeur voor te dragen. Victor is sinds november 2019bij Fastned actief als financieel directeur en heeft in februari van dit jaar een belangrijke bijdrage geleverd aan het groeipad van de onderneming, door 150 miljoen euro aan additioneel eigen vermogen te realiseren via een accelerated bookbuild. Victor was eerder werkzaam bij ING als Managing Director Debt Capital Markets (DCM), verantwoordelijk voor corporate DCM in Duitsland, Zwitserland en Oostenrijk.

Over Fastned

Nomination of Nancy Kabalt as supervisory director at Fastned

Amsterdam, 24 September 2021. The Supervisory Board of Fastned, the European fast charging company, intends to nominate Nancy Kabalt as a member of the Supervisory Board during the extraordinary general meeting on Thursday, November 11, 2021. In addition, Victor van Dijk (CFO) will be nominated as a statutory director.

The Supervisory Board is pleased that Nancy Kabalt is willing to commit herself to Fastned as a member of the Supervisory Board. Nancy has been a driving force behind the energy transition for years, which aligns with Fastned's mission. She is and has been active as a director and supervisory director at various energy companies, consortia and industry organizations that focus on the energy transition and electric mobility, including: the formula E-team, Stichting e-laad, network operators Alliander and Stedin and The New Motion. The Supervisory Board believes that Nancy, with her knowledge and expertise, as well as her motivation and energy will help Fastned accelerate the transition to sustainable mobility and

thereby realise Fastned's mission. She is therefore a valuable addition to the existing Supervisory Board.

Nancy Kabalt is currently an independent entrepreneur and partner at Windkracht 5!, a consultancy company in the energy sector. She fulfills various roles at the heart of the energy transition. For example, she is currently chair of the Formula E team, a public-private partnership established by the Dutch government to promote sustainable and zero emission mobility with members such as BOVAG, RAI association, ANWB, Natuur & Milieu and the Dutch Association for Sustainable Energy (NVDE). She is also a member of the Board of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), an EU Structural Fund aimed at promoting economic growth and employment. Also she is a member of the general board of TKI Urban Energy, a Top Consortium for Knowledge and Innovation within the energy top sector, founded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate. Nancy is also a member of the Supervisory Board of NV Afvalzorg and the heating company Ennatuurlijk.

The Supervisory Board is also delighted to nominate Victor van Dijk (CFO) as statutory director. Victor joined Fastned in November 2019as financial director and contributed to the company's growth path in February of this year, realising 150 million euros in equity via an accelerated bookbuild. Victor previously worked at ING as Managing Director Debt Capital Markets (DCM) where he was responsible for corporate DCM in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
