GOFA Gocher Fahrzeugbau GmbH was founded on 30 May 1962, only the manufacture of tank and dry bulk vehicles was its portfolio until the beginning of the 1980s, until then the GOFA product range was expanded with tank containers and swap bodies. For the range of temperature and pressure liquefied gases as a leading manufacturer GOFA produces vehicles and containers made of high-strength steel and stainless steel for gases with a temperature up to 196 °C. In recent years the alternating system developed by GOFA has been established in the range of the distributor vehicles for the public gas supply.
