Prior to co-founding GHJ&M in 1989, Mr. Hawn ten years at Piper Jaffray as a Managing Director in corporate finance, where he focused on public underwritings and merger and acquisition advice.
Former community board affiliations include the Minnesota Children's Museum, The Blake School and the Minnesota Orchestra.
He career began as a corporate lawyer with Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York and Paris concentrating on securities, banking and corporate law and participating in the representation of leading American corporations.
He was also Independent Director at Regis Corp.
Mr. Hawn graduated from Williams College and the University of Virginia School of Law.
