Decker Anstrom is currently the Chairman of the National Environmental Education & Training Foundation, Inc., the Washington Drama Society, Inc., the Institute for Educational Leadership, Inc., and serves as a Director for Landmark Community Newspapers LLC, Island Press, and Climate Central, Inc. Previously, he held the position of President & Chief Executive Officer at NCTA - The Internet & Television Association from 1994 to 1999.
He was also the Chairman of Weather Group Television LLC from 2001 to 2008.
Additionally, he served as an Independent Director at Discovery, Inc. from 2012 to 2020 and as an Independent Director at Comcast Corp.
in 2011.
He was the President of Landmark Media Enterprises LLC in 2008 and has also held positions at Public Strategies Washington, Inc. and The Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Inc. Mr. Anstrom obtained his undergraduate degree from Macalester College.
