Robert M. White

Robert M.
White is currently the Director at the National Science & Technology Medals Foundation and the Director at HPE Government LLC.
He is also a Member of the National Academy of Engineering, the American Physical Society, and the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineer, Inc. Previously, he held Director positions at Read Rite Corp., Silicon Graphics, Inc., Zilog, Inc., ONTRACK Data International, Inc., STMicroelectronics, Inc., and ENSCO, Inc. (Virginia).
He was also a Principal at Xerox Corp., Palo Alto Research Center LLC, and Control Data Corp.
Additionally, he was a Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University.
He holds a doctorate from Stanford University and an undergraduate degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
