Mr. McGill was an investment banker with Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York from 1956 to 1963.
He held various positions with Air Products & Chemicals, Inc., from 1963 to 1968, and from 1968 to 1973 was Vice President, Finance, and then Executive Director of General Interiors Corporation.
He was Vice President, Finance, of Ethan Allen, Inc., from 1973 to 1975 and held various positions with the Dexter Corporation from 1975 to 1995, including Executive Vice President, Finance & Administration.
While he was with Dexter, revenue increased from $150 million to $1 billion.
Mr. McGill serves on many corporations' boards, including Chemfab, Inc., and CN Biosciences, Inc. He is also a Trustee of Travelers Mutual Funds.
A 1954 graduate of Williams College, he and his wife have lived in Williamstown for the past eight years.
Mr. McGill retired from active involvement with BCI in 2003.
