Rick Webb

Rick Webb is a Strategic Advisor at NewRoad Capital Partners.
Rick brings over 25 years of retail industry experience to the NewRoad team.
He is currently the Director at Grit Studios, an innovation network that accelerates startup and enterprise business success.
Prior to Grit Studios, he held leadership positions with Ernst & Young, KPMG and Walmart.
In his role at Walmart, Rick most recently served as SVP of Innovation where he established an internal process improvement and change management organization focused on the customer and associate experience through design and implementation of new processes and technology.
In 2009, Rick was recognized as the Sam M.
Walton Entrepreneur of the Year.
Prior to Walmart, Rick spent over 20 years in the retail industry as a consultant for companies like Disney, Warner Bros, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Barnes & Noble, Sears and JCPenney.
Rick previously serves on the Board of Directors of PICKUP.
Rick holds a BS in Architecture and a MS and PhD in Industrial Engineering & Management from Oklahoma State University.
