Per Einar Ellefsen

Mr. Per Einar Ellefsen is a Chief Executive Officer at Amundsen Investment Management SAS. He has over a decade of industry experience.
Previously, Mr. Ellefsen served as the Global Head of Equity Enhanced Indexing at the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund (NBIM), where he managed the fund’s $700bn equity index portfolio.
From 2014 to 2018, he was a Portfolio Manager responsible for the selection and management of active external equity mandates in Europe and Asia.
He began his career as a Commodity Trader and Analyst at Arrowhawk Capital Partners and its spin-off, Arbalet Capital, from 2010 to 2013.
Mr. Ellefsen holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique in France, completed in 2008, and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed in 2010.
