The Society of Entrepreneurs is a membership organization dedicated to fostering the entrepreneurial spirit and supporting established business leaders in the Mid-South region. The private company is based in Memphis, TN. Its members are mature entrepreneurs—owners, presidents, and key executives—selected annually by their peers for demonstrated leadership, creativity, integrity, and business success. The organization promotes community welfare and education by supporting programs that encourage entrepreneurship locally, nationally, and internationally. It offers various programs to support business growth, including the Entrepreneurs Roundtable, which facilitates open discussions and talks by influential leaders, and the Insights Group, a selective, confidential forum for members to share business challenges and insights. The organization also sponsors the Entrepreneurial Hall of Honor, recognizing entrepreneurs who have significantly impacted their industries through innovation and adaptability, and features multimedia profiles to inspire and educate others.
