Norman Pearlstine

Norman Pearlstine is currently the Director at the Center For Communication, Inc., the Committee to Protect Journalists, the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, the USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism, Blue Ocean Acquisition Corp., the Council on Foreign Relations, Inc., and the American Academy of Arts & Sciences.
He is also a Trustee at the American Academy in Berlin GmbH since 2006.
Previously, he served as the Vice Chairman at TI Gotham, Inc. from 1994 to 2017.
He was also the Director at the Tribeca Film Institute and a Senior Advisor at The Carlyle Group LP (Corporate Private Equity).
Additionally, he held the position of Chief Content Officer at Bloomberg LP and served as the Executive Editor at The Wall Street Journal, Inc. from 1983 to 1992.
Mr. Pearlstine holds a graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree from Haverford College.
