Markus Gemperle

Markus Gemperle is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Helvetia Europe SA. He also holds the position of Chairman at Caja de Seguros Reunidos Compañia de Seguros y Reaseguros SA, HELVETIA Schweizerische Lebensversicherungs AG, Helvetia Versicherungen AG, and Helvetia Versicherungs AG.
Additionally, he serves as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Abraxas Informatik AG.
In his former positions, Dr. Gemperle was the Head of IT & Operations and CEO-Europe at Helvetia Holding AG from 2015 to 2017.
He was also a Member of the Executive Management at Swiss National Insurance Co. Furthermore, he worked as a Legal Counsel at Helvetia Feuer from 1986 to 1988.
Dr. Gemperle obtained a doctorate degree from the University of St. Gallen in 1990 and a graduate degree from the same university in 1986.
