The firm's origins can be traced to 1958 as the manager of tax-exempt accounts for First National Bank of Denver. In 1983, the firm became a Registered Investment Advisor, and in 1984, they became Denver Investment Advisors, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the bank.
