Julian Metherell

Julian Richard Metherell is the founder of Vallares Plc, founded in 2011.
He was also the founder of Genel Energy Plc, founded in 2011, where he held the title of Chief Financial Officer & Executive Director from 2011 to 2015.
In 2017, Mr. Metherell founded MW&L Capital Partners LTD and holds the title of Director.
Currently, Mr. Metherell holds the position of Vice Chairman at GasLog Ltd. since 2011.
He is also a Non-Executive Director at Well-Safe Solutions Ltd., a Director at Natural Capital Research Ltd., a Director at ForMotion NV, and a Trustee at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden Foundation.
In the past, Mr. Metherell worked at The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. from 1999 to 2011, where he held the title of CEO-UK Investment Banking Division & Partner.
He also served as an Independent Director at Euronav NV from 2014 to 2015 and as a Director-European Energy Group at Dresdner Kleinwort Ltd.Mr. Metherell's education includes an undergraduate degree from The University of Manchester and an MBA from the University of Cambridge.
