Jim Arens

Mr. James F.
Arens is a Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer at The Trust Company of Oklahoma.
He currently serves on Tulsa’s Gilcrease Museum National Board, as president of the University of Tulsa Student Investment Fund Board, on the investment committees for the University of Texas Student Investment Fund, Holland Hall and Asbury Methodist Church.
He is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) in Tulsa.
Previously, Mr. Arens has worked with KPMG Peat Marwick as a manager in the strategic services consulting group.
He has served as an adjunct finance professor at the University of Tulsa, president of the University of Tulsa Friends of Finance Board and as vice chairman of the board of trustees at First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa.
He earned his bachelor’s in Finance and Accounting from Southern Methodist University and his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Mr. Arens holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, is past president of the CFA Society of Oklahoma and is active in the CFA Institute.
He served on the Global Disciplinary Review Committee for the CFA Institute for seven years.
He is a graduate of the Leadership Oklahoma program.
