Ms. Ilse Zager is a Sustainability Manager at Old Mutual Alternative Investments (Pty) Ltd. She is responsible for undertaking environmental, social and governance (ESG) activities across all transactions, execution and asset management of the Impact Investing assets, which includes five funds across primarily education, housing and retirement assets.
Prior to this new role, since 2008, she was an investment professional in the Impact Investing team and managed existing investments, primarily in the end-user finance space, also serving on the boards of some of the investee companies.
She managed an end-user finance portfolio to the value of ZAR1 billion.
She holds a BCom (Marketing) from the University of Pretoria and a BCom Hons (Business management) from the University of South Africa.
