Mr. Greg M.
Swenson, CFA, is a Senior Analyst at The Leuthold Group LLC and a Senior Research Analyst & Co-Portfolio Manager at The Leuthold Group LLC.
Along with his Portfolio Management duties, he is a key member of the team involved with the quantitative development and maintenance of the firm's global investment strategies, and the analysis of domestic securities.
He monitors and evaluates the quant factors employed for investment selection and dissects attribution of performance.
He joined Leuthold Weeden Capital Management in July of 2006.
Prior to this, he was a Consultant and Account Executive at FactSet Research Systems based in Chicago.
In that position, he oversaw a large base of investment firm/hedge fund clients, where he aided Analysts and Portfolio Managers in expanding the depth of their securities and portfolio analysis capabilities.
While at FactSet, he worked extensively with the Leuthold research team in the initial development of their global marketplace data analysis.
He graduated with honors from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, and he is a CFA charter holder.
