Gio Onate

Gio Onate (Miami) joined KKR in 2022 and is Head of Mexico, Institutional Offshore, and Central America for the Client and Partner Group.
Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Onate was a senior vice president and head of Mexico at PIMCO.
Before joining PIMCO, Mr. Onate spent eleven years at BlackRock, most recently as head of the institutional business in Mexico.
He began his career in the Latin America/offshore business at Merrill Lynch and Lord Abbett.
Mr. Onate holds a B.B.A.
from Baruch College and an M.B.A from New York University, Leonard N.
Stern School of Business.
