Achmea Investment Management BV (Achmea IM) is a wholly-owned investment management subsidiary of Achmea BV, itself a subsidiary of Vereniging Achmea BV in Netherlands. The firm was founded in 2016 from a merger between Achmea Beleggingsfondsen Beheer BV and Syntrus Achmea Vermogensbeheer BV. Headquartered in Zeist, Achmea IM provides pension and asset management solutions and investment propositions for old-age provision which serves both institutional and private investors.

Syntrus Achmea Vermogensbeheer BV (Syntrus Achmea) is the pension management subsidiary of Achmea Investment Management BV, ultimately held by Vereniging Achmea NL in The Netherlands. Formerly known as Syntrus Achmea Pensioenbeheer, the firm was created in 2005 when Interpolis Pensioenen Vermogensbeheer and Achmea merged. Syntrus Achmea is based in De Meern and Tilburg and provides asset management services for Dutch pension funds. Their clients include business sector pension funds, occupational pension funds and corporate pension funds. They are a socially responsible investor which integrates SRI factors in their investment processes.
