Mr. Edwin Zablan is an Assistant Vice President & Senior Investment Analyst at Envestnet Asset Management, Inc. He has over 15 years of manager research and due diligence experience.
He is responsible for reviewing and conducting due diligence on fixed income products and liquid alternatives.
Prior to joining Envestnet in 2015, Mr. Zablan was the Director of Manager Research at Watershed Investment Consultants Inc., an independent institutional consultant with over $4 billion in assets under advisement that caters to foundation/endowments, public pension plans and healthcare plans.
At Watershed, he led the Traditional Asset Class team where he designed and implemented new research due diligence initiatives, and chaired the monthly investment committee research meetings.
He was also responsible for client education and took part of new business opportunities.
He has appeared on several panels speaking to the institutional industry conferences including Mountain States Institutional Investor Forum, AIMSE, and Institutional Investor Roundtable.
Prior to joining Watershed, he worked at Rogers Casey in Darien, CT as a Research Analyst on fixed income and international equities.
He was also a member of Rogers Casey’s Manager Evaluation Committee which was responsible for evaluating and rating investment strategies.
Mr. Zablan received a BS in Finance and Accounting at Aurora University.
