Garrison is a Managing Director at Ingalls & Snyder LLC.
She is a seasoned investment manager who builds portfolios suited to the needs of individuals, families, trusts and small endowments.
As a value investor, she seeks out mispriced securities in industries including energy, aerospace, transportation and healthcare.
She believes that the ability to buy unpopular securities at a discount to the value of their assets and businesses, and to exercise patience in waiting for a turnaround, is the individual investor’s advantage.
She became a Director of Ingalls & Snyder in 2002, a Senior Director in 2007 and a Managing Director in 2012.
She is also a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
Prior to joining Ingalls & Snyder in 1987, Ms. Garrison spent seven years at Mobil Oil Corporation.
She graduated cum laude with an A.B. degree from Mount Holyoke College, attended Boston University Graduate School of Public Communications and received an M.B.A in Finance from New York University Graduate School of Business.
