Dan Maydan

Dan Maydan is currently the Chairman of The Israel National Nanotechnology Initiative, Director of Ponte Solutions, Inc., Global Equipment Services & Manufacturing, Inc., Cogenra Solar, Inc., eJoule International Ltd., and Advisor of Silicom Ventures LLC.
He was previously the Director of Applied Materials, Inc. from 1994 to 2003, Director of LaserCard Corp.
from 1998 to 2008, Independent Director of Electronics for Imaging, Inc. from 1996 to 2019, and Independent Director of Infinera Corp.
from 2011 to 2014.
He was also a Trustee of The Palo Alto Medical Foundation from 2003 to present.
Dr. Maydan is a Member of the National Academy of Engineering.
He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and his doctorate from The University of Edinburgh.
