Finadvance is an active, mid- to long-term manager which specializes in LBOs and venture capital investments in French SMEs, aiming to create value in investee companies by participating in their strategic and financial decisions. For buyouts, the firm seeks to acquire majority stakes in French SME companies in all sectors which are valued between €5-€40 million. They generally invest €3-€12 million per transaction, investing up to €20 million with co-investors. Finadvance seeks to invest in companies with sales of €10-€100 million, a qualified management team, competitive products/services in their market and an ambitious business plan. For venture capital, the firm invests in recently-created companies, primarily in the ICT, electronics, fine chemicals, health, bioengineering and medical sectors and will also consider business operations in more traditional sectors. Finadvance aims to invest primarily in newly established companies or those at a stage of high growth potential which require financing to development or commercialize their products. The firm seeks to invest in companies with a competitive technological advantage and an experienced management team, typically taking a minority positions in the investee company, but they will also take a majority position on a temporary basis. Finadvance's buyout and venture investment teams work autonomously and make independent investment decisions.
