Emperor Entertainment Group Ltd. was incorporated in 1999 and listed on the Growth Enterprise Market of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong in December 2000. The Company is principally engaged in music production and distribution, artiste management and event production. The Company has a strong artiste base, large repertoire of songs and lyrics, which are the Company’s main assets and growth drivers. The Company is dedicated to nurturing young talented artistes and serves as the cradle of some top artistes in the Hong Kong music industry. The Company’s artistes have won numerous awards in Hong Kong’s music awards presentation ceremonies over the years. The Company now holds five music labels, namely, the “EEG”, “Music Plus”, “Music Icon”, “Emperor Visual Product (EVP)” and “EEG Music Family”. These labels allow music people to enjoy lots of space and freedom during their music creation and production. To drive local music to global excellence and diversify the scope of music creation, the Company also invites world-class professionals to work together. To diversify its entertainment business, the Company acquired the Emperor Motion Picture Group (EMP) in 2001. EMP is mainly engaged in film and television programme production and distribution. The Company has also launched an entertainment television platform - EEG Channel - in Hong Kong, the first entertainment television channel in Hong Kong that gathers hottest artistes of the Company. The Company is also expanding in Mainland China. It operates through Emperor Entertainment Group (China) and SFS Emperor Limited – a joint venture with Shanghai Film Group Corporation of Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group – to expand into culture and entertainment operations in China.
