Mr. Boey joined Updata Capital in 2005 as an Analyst.
Prior to joining Updata, Brandon was involved in non-profit work while on a two-year volunteer service mission in Taiwan for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Before that, he was an Analyst at UBS Warburg in the Mergers & Acquisitions group in New York City.
At UBS, he worked on sell-side, buy-side and a number of cross-border transactions as a generalist in an array of industries, including biotechnology, healthcare, technology, retail and general industrial.
Earlier, he interned with CIBC Oppenheimer on their Sales & Trading desk in New York.
Mr. Boey received a BS with honors with a double major in economics and communications from New York University.
While in school, he also served as an Associate Editor and the manager of the business page for the Washington Square News, NYU’s daily newspaper.
