Currently, Thomas Adam Shippey occupies the position of Group Finance Director & Executive Director at Ashmore Group Plc and President Commissioner of PT Ashmore Asset Management Indonesia (Invt Mgmt) and President Commissioner for PT Ashmore Asset Management Indonesia Tbk (both are subsidiaries of Ashmore Group Plc). Mr. Shippey is also on the board of Ashmore Investments (UK) Ltd.

He received an undergraduate degree from the University of Aston.
