Mr. Horie previously was General Manager-General Affairs Department at Mitsui Matsushima Holdings Co., Ltd. and SVP & Divisional Operating Officer-Steel Division at Mitsui & Co. (U.S.A.), Inc.

Mr. Horie received an undergraduate degree from Waseda University and a graduate degree from MIT Sloan School of Management.
