Shigetoshi Torii holds the position of Director & Joint MD-Production & Supply Chain at Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. Mr. Torii is also on the board of Machino Plastics Ltd., Bharat Seats Ltd. and Manesar Steel Processing India Pvt Ltd.

In his past career he occupied the position of Senior Manager at Suzuki Motor Corp. and Executive Director & Production Director at Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corp.).

Shigetoshi Torii received an undergraduate degree from Graduate School of Engineering Osaka University and an undergraduate degree from Osaka University.
