Currently, he is Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Silvercorp Metals, Inc. and Chief Executive Officer & Director at New Pacific Metals Corp., President & Director at Tagish Lake Gold Corp. (a subsidiary of New Pacific Metals Corp.). Dr. Feng is also on the board of British Columbia Risk & Insurance Management Association and Whitehorse Gold Corp. and Director-British Columbia Chapter Board at Canada China Business Council and Vice President at Canada-China Business Association.

Rui Feng previously occupied the position of Chief Executive Officer at Pacific Metals Co., Ltd., Research Scientist at Geological Survey of Canada and Research Scientist at the University of Montréal.

Dr. Feng received a doctorate from the University of Saskatchewan.
