Currently, Pierre Mottet holds the position of Chairman for Ion Beam Applications SA, Chairman for Xylowatt SA and Managing Director & Director at IBA Molecular Holding SA. Mr. Mottet is also on the board of Telemis SA, Union Wallonne des Entreprises and Agoria Wallonie and Member-Management Committee at Federation of Enterprises in Belgium.

He previously held the position of Vice Chairman of E-Capital Equity Management SCRL.

He received a graduate degree and an undergraduate degree from Université Catholique de Louvain.
