Dr. Azab is also on the board of DURECT Corp., Sernova Corp. and Xenon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Member of American Society of Clinical Oncology, Member of American Society of Hematology, Member of European Society for Medical Oncology and Member of International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.

In the past he held the position of Member of American Association for Cancer Research, Manager-International Medical Oncology at Sanofi Pharmaceuticals, President, Chief Executive Officer & Director at Intradigm Corp., Chief Medical Officer, EVP-Research & Development at QLT, Inc., Chief Medical Officer for SuperGen, Inc. and Chief Medical Officer for Astex Therapeutics Ltd.
