Mario Schirru, born in Rome (Italy), studied mechanical engineering and control engineering at the Università di Pisa (Italy) and completed his MBA at the Mannheim Business School (MBA).
In 2008 Mario Schirru started his career in the field of Renewable Energies as Country Manager of the wind farm project developer GEO GmbH (Germany) and built up their Italian branch (Rome/Italy) for the development of new wind farms.
At the end of 2013, Mario Schirru moved to Capital Stage AG, now Encavis AG, as an Investment Manager.
In 2015 he held the position of Investment Director, and in 2019 he took over the Management of Operations and IT at Encavis AG.
Mario Schirru has been Chief Operating Officer since 2021.
