Currently, John P. Hayes is Chairman of Maritime Resources Corp. Mr. Hayes is also on the board of Signature Resources Ltd. and Member of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists Newfoundland & Labrador.

In his past career he occupied the position of Senior Vice President-Corporate Development at Osisko Mining, Inc., Research Analyst at BMO Capital Markets Corp. (Canada) and SVP-Business Development & Investor Relations at Pretium Resources, Inc.

John P. Hayes received an MBA from Dalhousie University and an undergraduate degree and a graduate degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
