Currently, Gordon M. Ritchie is Independent Chairman for Obsidian Energy Ltd. and Independent Chairman of Pipestone Energy Corp. Mr. Ritchie is also on the board of Coril Holdings Ltd., the University of Calgary and PKM Canada Ltd.

Mr. Ritchie previously occupied the position of MD-International Corporate Finance Group at RBC International Ltd., President & Chief Executive Officer at RBC Capital Markets Corp. and Vice Chairman for RBC Capital Markets LLC.

Mr. Ritchie received an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and an undergraduate degree from the University of Alberta.
