The Energy segment involves in the sale of electricity; operation of natural gas and crude oil resources; exploration and production of resources; and sale and transportation of resources to international markets. The Construction segment operates in construction, contracting, and decoration businesses. The Textile segment produces and trades yarn, texture, and ready wear products. The Marketing segment supplies goods that are used in the production and the domestic or foreign projects carried out mainly by the group entities. The Telecommunication segment provides communication, press, and internet services. The Banking and Finance segment offers commercial and investment banking, financial leasing, insurance, project financing trading of marketable securities, and credit financial services. The Other segment includes electronic fee collection, organization, mining, and transportation energy license procurement. The company was founded by Ahmet Çalik on March 20, 1997 and is headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey.
