In the past Mr. Grant held the position of Project Manager at Tetra Tech Wardrop, Vice President-Project Development at Cannon Point Resources Ltd., Vice President-Project Development at Energy, Inc. (Pennsylvania) and Manager-Mine Development Manager at Northern Orion Resources, Inc.

He received an undergraduate degree from the University of Aberdeen and a graduate degree from McGill University.
