Galapagos benoemt Bart Filius tot president en COO

Filius sinds 2014 CFO van bedrijf.

(ABM FN-Dow Jones) De raad van toezicht van Galapagos heeft Bart Filius benoemd tot president en chief operating officer. Dit meldde het Belgisch-Nederlandse biotechbedrijf woensdag nabeurs.

Filius is sinds 2014 al CFO van Galapagos. In 2017 nam hij de verantwoordelijkheid als COO op zich.

Filius wordt verantwoordelijk voor business development, commerciële strategie, finance, human resources en andere operationele activiteiten. CEO Onno van de Stolpe blijft verantwoordelijk voor de onderzoeks- en ontwikkelingsactiviteiten.
