(ABM FN-Dow Jones) De Britse werkloosheid, gecorrigeerd voor seizoensinvloeden, is in de drie maanden tot en met december gestegen. Dit bleek dinsdag uit cijfers van het Britse bureau voor de statistiek ONS.
In het betreffende tijdvak kwam het werkloosheidspercentage uit op 5,1 procent en dat is 0,4 procentpunt hoger dan het cijfer over het voorgaande kwartaal en zelfs 1,3 procentpunt hoger dan een jaar eerder.
De werkgelegenheid kwam in de drie maanden tot en met december uit op 75,0 procent.
